 Metro commenced operations on June 3, 2015, and is operated by the Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation (JMRC). It is the sixth metro in India and continues expanding with the passage of time with the hope of serving more areas of the city.

Smart Cards can be purchased by repeat travelers at a 10% discount for every ride. You may also buy a Tourist Card for day or three unlimited rides.
